I especially loved the chemistry between Zoya and Nikolai and how they interacted with each other and respected each other. We also have the monk chapters which I know we can all agree on being the most annoying point of view. You’d have a really intense scene and then you turn the page and find a Nina chapter, so it broke the intensity and immersion. ![]() Some of Nina’s were good too but I felt that Nina’s chapters sometimes came at the wrong time. I especially liked Zoya’s and Nikolai’s chapters. To be honest, I binge-read the first and second book at the same time so it’s hard for me to differentiate between the two, but the characters are easily one of my favorite parts of the book. I absolutely loved the characters in this book. It starts off where the last book finished and is the end of the series. Rule of wolves by Leigh Bardugo is a YA fiction fantasy novel and the second book in the king of scars duology. ![]()
